                                 FROM PAGES TO SCREEN......

          3 Idiots, an adaptation...

Five Point Someone is a fantastic piece of work by the greatest Indian writer Chetan Bhagat. Here the author discusses about the the life, the pity filled one in an IIT. The wonderful piece of art is excellently modified into a film with needed changes. In both text and film the role of the narrator is played by the same character; Hari Kumar in Five Point Someone and Farhan Qureshi in 3 Idiots.

Arts forms are always closely related. Art of literature is one such form, which is very closelyconnected with films. We can see many a films which came to big screen as an inspiration from literary works. In the venue of IFFK they are getting connected in yet another way.

In the premise of Tagore theatre, we can see a number of book stalls. All these stalls are mainly concentrating on the books included in the film genre.Kerala Chalachithra Academy is having a book stall, where the festival books are being sold on 15% discount. They are saying that a good sale is carrying out in this category. Chintha publications, Olive publications and all are also having there stall with an excellent collection of books on films.

A Distinct Folk Team...

Obviously they are becoming an entertainment channel for the tiring long queue. We can see many long chains of people waiting for entries to the theatres to watch their movies of interest. But at times many a people at the back end may not be able to access the ticket. Completely boring and tiring queues... Now a group of youngsters are there to entertain themselves and to make others in the queue relaxed.

Again back with a special recipe.......
   ALOO PARATHA....
A all time favourite recipe of north Indians. You can make this hot and spicy item through some simple steps.
Just prepare some wheat dough as per needed for making chapatis. Then Boil some potatoes, mash it and add veggies like chopped onions, green chillies, tomatoes, cooked and crushed green peas and all. Sort it out in a pan with hot oil. Then add chopped garlic, needed masalas. Again go for a fine crushing.... :-) Now the most important thing is to add the mint and pudina leaves. Now fill the dough balls with this masala, roll it with a fine roller and just fry the parathas in ghee....
Now you can have this hot parathas with tomato sauce or sourless curd :-)
