Academies Holding Their Hands Together....

International Film Festival of Kerala is an event, which is being hosted by the Kerala State Chalachithra Academy. But this year many other academies of Kerala are actively involving themselves into this film festival. Yes, many academies like Kerala Folklore Academy, Kerala Kalamandalam, Kerala Sahithya Academy, Kerala Sangeetha Nadaka Academy, Kerala Lalithakala Academy, Gurugopinath Natanagramam, Bharath Bhavan and all are there to be a part of IFFK.

In fact this kind of a mutual cooperation is something which helps to increase the popularity of our art forms. People who come to watch the movies eagerly wait to attend such shows with artistic values. Kerala’s own art form Kadhakali and the folk art form of Kerala, Mudiyettu attracted a huge mass. Film lovers in and out of Kerala can simply be mentioned as art lovers.

These people are much eager to know different art forms in detail. Their love towards it usually makes the shows crowdy also. There are such events arranged by different academies on the upcoming days also. This includes Padayani, Theyyam, Street Magic, Kerala Nadanam, Jugalbandhi and all. Painting exhibition, instrumental music and seminars are also there to add the credit.

Anyway the effort made is a successful one in all sense. It is completely capable of attracting the mass. Thus it is fair to mention that the unity and togetherness is a needed thing and at the same time it could increase commoner’s and foreigner’s taste on our endangering art forms.
